RTA HSC Scholarship
Your next step to a brighter future with the RTA mob.
The RTA is seeking applications from Aboriginal secondary students who will complete Year 11 or Year 12 in 2010 and are interested in a career in Civil Engineering or a related field (for example; Surveying, Environmental Science and Transport Planning).
RTA HSC scholarships can help you study towards a place at uni. You can get up to $5000 to help you achieve HSC results that can help you study civil engineering or a related discipline at a uni of your choice.
You can use your RTA HSC scholarship to buy educational tools and services such as new computer, text books or tutoring.
You will be required to undertake, or already be undertaking, 2 unit or Extension Mathematics and Physics for the NSW Higher School Certificate and to complete at least two weeks work experience with the RTA.
Scholarships are available for NSW school or TAFE students who will be in years 11 or 12 in 2010.
All applications MUST reach the RTA by the closing date – 2 October 2009.
