Yakka Introduction to Work project

The Yakka Introduction to Work project introduces 150 Indigenous students to potential careers and will assist them to develop a career plan. The program will consist of work inspiration and work experience activities including career profiling, aptitude testing, career planning, educating students about work health and safety, employability skills and resume building. 

Introduction to Work project supports Indigenous students in Year 7 to 12.  The Introduction to Work project will cater to students in the Hunter, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Port Stephens areas of New South Wales.
