Social Enterprise Hunter

The Hunter Social Enterprise Forum aimed to raise awareness of social enterprise in the community and build capability within the sector. 

The event was proudly presented by Social Enterprise Hunter and the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) a and featured Cheryl Kernot, Director of Social Business at CSI and former political figure.

Other guest speakers included Andrew Douglas and Bill Dibley from Soft Landing a Mission Australia social enterprise), Caroline Veldhuizen from Hunter Valley Research Foundation, Dina Jak from Foresters Community Finance and Emily Martin from Social Ventures Australia

The event attracted over 60 guests from community, business and government and showcased how social enterprise is addressing social needs in Australia and abroad.
