EVENT CINEMAS - GLENDALE
Event Cinemas will offer Entertainment students one placement per student in either Year 11 or 12. See your teacher for available dates.
- Two weeks before a placement, students will need to email Jack Lodge, Assistant Manager at Event Cinemas, so that he can roster them for their weeks placement.
- In this email students need to:- Introduce themselves, Name, School, Teacher and Date of Placement.
- Let Jack know, outside of school hours, what times they are not available to be put on the roster. (This should only be if they work or have sport commitments).
- During the week, Jack will work out the roster, email students back their roster, and this will not be altered.
- Students need to acknowledge receipt of roster, by emailing back their completed insurance papers.
- If for any reason these papers cannot be emailed, they are to be handed to Jack on the student's first shift of the week. If these papers are not handed in students will not be able to commence placement and will be sent back to school.
Students will receive an email from Career Links to ok placement and will then need to check with their teacher to confirm.
NB If you do not receive a confirmation email you have not gained the placement, it is on a first-come first-choice basis.
