Newcastle Youth Industry Partnership Program (YIP) for Schools

About the program:

The Newcastle Youth Industry Partnership Program (YIP) is designed to assist young people to transition successfully into further education or employment by making informed career choices. This is an initiative developed by Career Links in Partnership with the City of Newcastle Council and local employers.

 

The program offers participants the following services:

Student Agreement

• Ask for help when I need it.
• Respect others learning.

Parental Permission

By signing this form, I agree to:
• My child participating in the YIP Program.
• Make sure they arrive on time to face to face and zoom meetings ready to learn.
I give permission for my child’s name and photograph/video image to be reproduced on Career Links’ promotional material and/or website (including Facebook Page).
I give permission for my child to travel by car/bus to industry work sites as part of Industry visits.
I give Career Links permission to access Personal Learning Plans completed by the school.
